Chaplain: "I don't blame you. I feel the same way. I cannot believe in the fission of the atom without theological proof."
"But you can't prove science by theology."
Well?

You don't prove God or Jesus. You find them and trust them. It works in your life, if you give it a chance.
My first mentor, Father William O. Hanner, was the Rector of the Church of the Holy Comforter when I was growing up in Kenilworth in the 1960s. He wrote these notes for a sermon he preached on January 24, 1954.
