William. Shatner. Is. Something. (Someone.) Else.

 

On this rainy day off I spent the first part of the morning catching up on piled up newspapers and magazines. The New York Times Magazine of September 5, for example.

 

Inside, on page 24, I discovered the article by Pat Jordan titled “‘Oh, there are so many iterations of William Shatner.’ Says (William) Shatner.”

 

A delightful article, and after a challenging two weeks, a tonic for my spirits.

 

Best paragraph:

 

“I asked if he regrets anything about his career. ‘Regret is the worst human emotion,’ he said. “If you took another road, you might have fallen off a cliff. I’m content.’”
